NO social media : لا وسائل تواصل إجتماعــي

A serious problem we face nowadays can’t be solved thus many suggestions, it is hard to stay away from it and harder not to check it from time to time, I am talking about our phones.

The more time we spend staring on our phones the more it interfering with our sleep, relationships, self esteem and paying attention to what’s going on around us. The more time we spend on phone the more it threatening our health and shortening our lives.

It affects our brain and created a form of habits and addiction manipulating our brain system by elevating cortisol levels which effect the brain critical area for decision making and rational thoughts.

Making our phones controlling our lives will always be stressful and unhealthy, and to break the circle we should turn off all the notifications except the ones that you need to receive and pay attention to different apps and how they effect you physically and mentally.

I know it is hard to create boundaries between us and phones but make sure there will be a huge difference after quitting social media and focus on other things like sports and reading books. I have a video from YES Theory’s YouTube channel about this matter, where one of the members deleted all his social media apps and focused on other things for a month, he felt the difference and had the chance to practice sports and read more books, I hope you enjoy it.


لا يمكن حل مشكلة خطيرة نواجهنا في الوقت الحاضر حيث فشلت العديد من المحاولات، بحيث من الصعب الابتعاد عنه وصعوبة عدم التحقق منه من وقت لآخر ، أنا أتحدث عن هواتفنا.

كلما قضينا وقتًا أطول في التحديق بهواتفنا كلما زاد تأتيره على نومنا وعلاقاتنا واحترامنا لذاتنا والاهتمام بما يجري حولنا. كلما قضينا وقتًا أطول على الهاتف كلما زاد تهديده لصحتنا وتقصيرا لحياتنا.

إنه يؤثر على دماغنا ويخلق نوعًا من العادات والإدمان الذي يتلاعب بنظام الدماغ عن طريق رفع مستويات الكورتيزول التي تؤثر على منطقة الدماغ المسؤولة عن إتخاذ القرارات والأفكار المنطقية.

إن جعل هواتفنا تتحكم في حياتنا دائمًا غير صحية و مرهقة، ولكي تكسر الدائرة ، يجب أن نطفئ جميع الإخطارات باستثناء تلك التي تحتاج إلى تلقيها والإنتباه إلى التطبيقات المختلفة وكيف تؤثر علينا جسديًا وعقليًا.

أعلم أنه من الصعب إنشاء حدود بيننا وبين الهواتف ولكن تأكد من وجود فرق كبير بعد ترك الوسائط الاجتماعية والتركيز على أشياء أخرى مثل الرياضة وقراءة الكتب. لديّ مقطع فيديو من قناة YES Theory على YouTube حول هذا الأمر ، حيث قام أحد الأعضاء بحذف جميع تطبيقات الوسائط الاجتماعية الخاصة به وركز على أشياء أخرى لمدة شهر, شعر بفرق كبير وأتيحت له الفرصة لممارسة الرياضة وقراءة المزيد من الكتب ، آمل أن تستمتعوا به.
