Arena Ciudad de Mexico
Arena Ciudad de Mexico, also known as Mexico City Arena, is an indoor arena in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, Mexico, and is predominantly used for sporting events and concerts. The construction work to construct the indoor stadium began on 18th of March 2009 and has been opened to the general public on 25th of February after a period of 2 years. The total construction cost to construct the stadium was USD 300 million. With a whole capacity of 22,300, it was built by the KMD Architects and the AVALANZ group. Zignia Live operates the stadium. It's two heliports (45 meters high) and a parking lot which could hold up to 5,000 cars, 124 luxury suites, 850 LCD screens, and 650 security cameras. NBA has expressed a desire to have a team in Mexico, particularly in this arena.
