Fairy Shrimp Commission Piece

in #artlast year

Greetings fellow Humans,

I was commissioned to build an 8 foot long fairy shrimp, and just got it done. Fairy shrimp are similar to brine shrimp, and are native to the Black Rock Desert, where Burning Man is held annually. The real ones are less than an inch long usually, and are active during the wet part of the year, when the playa is a lake. For your viewing pleasure, my latest sculpture, plus a few build pictures.

Dude this is badass. What a cool commission. Pretty crazy to think about a shrimp species living on/in the playa :)

Thanks! Yeah, I like building segmented animals.
