Self-Portrait, Acrylic on Paper, 2016
If you can ignore the “seam” down the center. It’s a big sheet of paper and required two scans. I am still not great at putting them together.
This is like a doodle. It’s too simple to be a full piece, but too elaborate to be dismissed. I actually don’t know what to think about it.
I looked rather sad though. It was the beginning of my slow slide into disastrous anxiety. A bit of foreshadowing I suppose.
I’m posting every painting I have ever done from 2014 to the present, the good, the bad, and the ugly. With an occasional photograph or sketch thrown in just to mix things up. Check back daily to see my progression as an “artist”!
