My book "Physics is Futile" is now available on Amazon
It's aliiiiiive!! After many months of hard work, my first non-fiction book is now published and available on Amazon.com. This means that (if you live in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Australia, Brazil, Japan, China, India, Mexico, Singapore, or Turkey) you can order it right now and have a paperback copy at your door in as little as 48 hours.
Here's the blurb I put on the listing and on the back cover:
Part history, part philosophy, part scathing critique of the modern physics paradigm— this short book aims to convince the reader that the distinction between matter and void is illusory and that the structure of our universe is diametrically opposed to human comprehension. Through a chronological overview of more than two thousand years of history, Physics is Futile examines the fundamental question “what is space?” and how the conflicting answers to this question have engendered a flawed and dogmatic paradigm which persists today. In little over a hundred pages, you will discover why humanity’s most revered scientific theories— from Relativity to String Theory— are not all they have been cracked up to be, and why, if you are hoping to find a Theory of Everything, you would be unwise to hold your breath.
Unlike my book of short stories, which I hardly promoted at all, I'm trying to plug this one as much as possible. My short story book was amateurish, and in its best moments only entertaining-- never profound. In this work I think my subject matter and writing ability have matured, and I aspire for profundity more so than empty entertainment. In any case, I'm proud and excited to be done with it, and I hope that if you are reading this (and live somewhere Amazon is available) that you will spare the time and the eight dollars to read this labor of love.
