Ive been asked a few times what are compound movements exercises and what are the benefits of doing them.
What is a compound movement exercise? A compound movement exercise is any exercise that uses two or more joints to fully active entire muscle group or even multiple muscle groups.
What are the benefits of doing compound exercises? There are a many advantages to doing compound exercises. You shorten your workout time because you are using whole body "for the most part" and you are burning more calories throughout the workout because you are using multiple muscles.
