My Favourite Meal Chicken Halim
Halim is a traditional meal in Ramadan at Bangladesh and it is a daily meal in many homes. People who do not love beef and mutton? Can cook Halim with chicken meat. But much easier and in a short time
Lets know it in details :
Take Mung beans, Mascalai pulse, lentil pulse and Fragrant rice all mixed int total half kilogram. Take a cup of wheat. Mixed all and make some powders by a blender. It will take less time.
The rest will take-
Chicken 1 to one and a half kg, 4 small pieces of chopped onion, some fried sprouted onions, onion paste, 2 tablespoons ginger paste, 2 tablespoons garlic paste, 2 tablespoons, turmeric powder, 2 teaspoons of Garam Masala powder, 1 table spoon cumin seeds, 2 teaspoons Coriander powder, 2 teaspoons coriander leaves and chopped ginger gourd with oil half cup and salt to taste.
First of all, mix all the spices with chicken and keep marinating it half an hour. Then take one saucepan and add oil, stirring it with marinated chicken pieces and add water then cook it for 20 minutes. When it starts bubbling the oil the meat is ready.
First of all, combine the first rolled pulse and wheat mixture with 5 cups of hot water. Mix well with water and spices.
Cook it for 1 hour. Do not forget to stir it time to time.
Due to the fact the oil will rise above.
Then Add the Halim mixture with the Chicken Curry.
Finally Serve with coriander leaves and chopped ginger, green chillies, Fried onion.
