I've baked a "Cinnamon Swirl Apple Pie"
I did bake a Cinnamon Swirl Apple Pie for the first time and it was not that easy. If you have an overripe apple use it in another way that you know, the same what I did. I made my own pastry and the ingredients are simple. Let's start!
- 2 Cup of Flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 Cup of Water
This should be the outcome of what you have done and apply egg wash.
Just combine the water, flour, and pinch of salt then slowly mix and knead. Set aside for 5 minutes. Then use a wooden roller to expand the dough. Wipe with melted butter and sprinkle with Cinnamon powder and roll it to form a long stick shape. Divide into small ones and place one by one in the mold. Then spread and gently squeeze around the mold to form. Then set aside.
And for Apple Ingredients:
- 3/4 Sugar
- 3 tbsp plain flour
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- Mix well...
- 8 Cups slice apple
Gradually mix all together...
These are mixture ingredients prepared.
Make dough again as it was originally made for covering over Cinnamon Swirl Apple Pie. Then apply egg wash at the top and make a cross hole at the center. Put in the oven for 50 minutes at 180-degree Celsius / 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
And if it is cooked, let it be cool for 5 minutes before it is taken at the oven. If it is cool, it can be placed on a large plate. It is delicious to eat if it is a bit warmer. This is just what I can share today. Hope you like it. It's easy to do it, do not be afraid to make a mistake in cooking.
