Homemade Hot dogs (Semi veggie or semi carnic).
Today, Venezuelans must invent cooking recipes, due to lack of inputs or lack of products, today, I bring a recipe that includes some noble products and other meat.
Hot dogs made from a mixture of processed lentils, mortadella and ground beef, mixed with some herbs and vegetables to obtain this wonderful semi-vegetarian or semi-meat hot dog.
The lentils are processed until they are almost pulverized (they are left to soak for 12 hours), the mortadella is ground and joined to the ground meat, forming a paste. A handful of parsley, coriander, chives, celery, a little marinade, cumin to taste are processed and sausage-like canes are formed to fry them.
In addition, a salad with cabbage, carrot, paprika, onion and parsley is prepared.
Mini-style fries are placed.
It is seasoned with grated cheese and the sauces of your choice, in our case, we use corn sauce, tomato sauce, mayonnaise, bbq and spicy dressing, but this is to the taste of the diner.
