Cook Spaghetti With Me 🍝

Good Afternoon Steemians!

What I am about to show you today is process on how I make spaghetti.

What are the Ingredients?

  • 10 cups of water

  • half fist of salt

  • olive oil

  • half kilo of thin strings of pasta

  • one onion (slice thinly)

  • one garlic (press)

-hotdogs (slice diagonally)

  • ham (slice into square)

  • 2 sachets of tomato sauce

  • cheese


First, we’ll be cooking first our pasta since this will take much time. What we need are the cups of water, salt, oil, and the pasta strings.


Cooking the first part:

  • STEP 1: The very first thing to do is to boil 10 cups of water.

  • STEP 2: To season the pasta, add half fist of salt on to the water. You can use other seasoning products but this is what our family usually do.

  • STEP 3: After sometime, add a table spoon of olive oil. This is to be used optionally because some people want cholesterol free and healthier dish. But I always add oil so that the pasta strings will be kept from sticking with each other. This will also make the pasta have a chewy texture faster. But if you do not like the thought of adding oil then just stir the pasta occasionally.

  • STEP 4: When the water boils, slightly reduce the heat then break the pasta strings in half and add them on the boiling water. Reducing the heat will prevent the water from boiling over. I usually break them into half because some will cut the pasta after boiling it over then breaking it before boiling makes it easier and faster. Remember to add the pasta little by little. This will make it easier for you to stir them.

  • STEP 5: Since we added oil so we are not in need to stir it over and over again. But we still need to stir it to equally make all the strings and inches of them become chewy.

  • STEP 6: Drain the chewable pasta strings and then set aside.

Since we are done on the first part, let us prepare the ingredients that we are going to use for the second process. We will need the onion, garlic, olive oil, hotdogs, ham, and tomato sauces.


Cooking the second part:

  • STEP 1: Heat up olive oil onto the pan.

  • STEP 2: Stir fry the slices of onions and the pressed garlic on to the pan.

  • STEP 3: Add the slices of hotdogs until. This comes first than the ham since this takes more time to cook compared to the ham.

  • STEP 4: Add the squared ham and wait until all the meats are cook.

  • STEP 5: Pour the 2 sachets of tomato sauce and wait until it get sticky.

Can you believe it? We are down to preparing our meal!

  • STEP 1: If you notice, you will make two full pots of pasta. Divide the sauce equally and pour it onto the pots containing the pasta.

  • STEP 2: Mix them properly. Make sure to evenly distribute the sauce to all the strings of pasta.

  • STEP 3: Put them on your desired Tupperware pan then scatter the cheese on the top.
