Steemit Crypto Academy | Summary On Homework Task- Week 3

My First Board (4).jpg

The Homework task week-3 has come to an end on 28th Feb 2021. During the last seven days, we witnessed as many as 70 entries in Blockchain Wallet Chapter-3.

I would like to congratulate all who participated and submitted their assignments during this week.

Steemit crypto Academy definitely stimulates your intrinsic joy when you develop a better relationship with a Blockchain wallet(Week 1, Week 2, Week 3). I said intrinsic joy because every one of us in the crypto world develops a relationship with the wallet first before anything else.

Your relationship with a Blockchain wallet is getting stronger every week with Steemit Crypto Academy. With this segment of Blockchain wallet, you all are developing a sense of competence and autonomy with your Decentralised crypto wallet.

So I would like to convey my gratitude to the Steemit Team for coming up with such an idea and organizing a team for that cause, fostering crypto literacy.

In the last seven days, I have visited all the posts that have been submitted with the correct tag( #sapwood-week3, #cryptoacademy). So I would request all the participants to make sure that they use the correct tags and that should be among the first five tags. And also make sure you post in the Steemit Crypto Academy community.

Observation & Thoughts

There are 70 entries in the last seven days. I visited them all. Unfortunately, I found that some users are still submitting plagiarized/spun content.

The Proof-of-Brain in Steem Blockchain has been designed to reward the original content creators. So any act of spam/plagiarism is always discouraged by the community.

So I would request all the participants to refrain from any such attempt.

However, this week most of the users complied with the guidelines. Almost all users comply with "min 300 words" content, most of them also covered all the sub-parts of the task. So it's positively iterating into week 4.

The right approach is always to gain sufficient user experience before you submit a task. In that process, you definitely learn and develop a better relationship with a wallet/dApp. Even if you are poor in explaining/presenting in your assignment, your experience and learning curve definitely improves. It's a continuous process. Be a part of that process.

So I would request all the participants to include their own experience with a wallet(of course, in line with a Task requirement). For instance, if it is related to web 3.0 experience, your Homework Task must elicit your own web 3.0 experience with a wallet.

Theoretical part, we all can read and gather info from so many sources. But the learning pathway can only get better with a personalized experience with a wallet/dApp.

So I would again request all to gain sufficient user experience and try to develop a relationship with a wallet/dApp and then submit your assignment. Even if you are wrong, don't hesitate to write what you have experienced, we will correct it when we engage with you.

Further, always pay attention to the grammar/spelling, proper formatting, use of markdown styling to represent it in a professional way, which always attracts the attention of the reader/curator. If you do that on a day-to-day basis you also evolve as a professional blogger in the long run.

I would also suggest all the participants use the Grammarly app for proof-reading.

Statistics & Evaluation

Here is the stat of the 70 entries in the Blockchain Wallet Chapter-3.

Total Entries- Posts published in "Steemit Crypto Academy community" with tag #sapwood-week3

Plagiarism/Spun Content- Stealing other text/screenshot and representing as if it is their own content. Using spinning tools & paraphrasing the texts of another post.

Valid Entries- Valid Entries= Total Entries- Plagiarized/spun content

I have evaluated all the entries on the basis of the following parameters:-

  • Proper representation of a task
  • Whether covered all the sub-parts of an assignment or not
  • Proper formating
  • True representation of the text/subject(with illustration/screenshot)
  • Grammar/Spelling
  • Free of Spam/Plagiarism.
  • Adhering to the laid rules or not
  • Proof-Reading
  • Original content

Of the 70 entries, I found the following three as the best entries this week.

S NoAuthorPost LinkWallet used for the TaskRemarks
1@jehoshua-sheyLinkTronLinkThe author has produced well-organized content with relevant screenshots at each stage
2@lopwLinkTrust WalletThe author has clearly demonstrated his web 3.0 experience with relevant screenshots
3@kouba01LinkMetamaskWell organized content, covered all the sub-parts with detailed explanation.

NB- Selection of a winner may not be absolute, most of the time, it is based on the relative performance. As long as you focus on all the sub-parts of Homework Task and gain sufficient user-experience, you stand better to win it every week.

We all are committed to creating an enriched communication environment, that is a precursor to building a foundation of crypto literacy. The right information and education should percolate down the line and the PoB will come along to reward you(extrinsic motivation).

So again I would request all to become a part of this process. Gain as much user experience as you can. Be your own. Don't hesitate to write what you have understood(even if you are wrong), but be your own.

Pay attention to the correct tag. If you are submitting the assignment for Week 3 then the tag is #sapwood-week3. If it is for week 4 then the correct tag is #sapwood-week4 and so on.

The take-home message-- Develop a relationship with wallet/dApp(or as the Task demands), Learn, Experience, Submit your assignment. This is the ideal path to economic advantage(upvote) & crypto literacy.
