Just like any private U.S. citizen, private companies can do whatever is legal.

Non-private, listed entities can do the same IAW shareholder's wishes via their proxy (Board Execs).

Governmental action must support not just the letter of the law, but the spirit of the Constitution as interpreted by the U.S. Supreme Court.

IMHO - even if I disagree with their actions or beliefs - every player seems to be staying in their lane, so far.

Why did I bother writing this?

Because as the Crypto Space evolves at warp speed, every one of those major players will be vying for a power seat at the table.

There are no official rules to this game; meaning: "Let's see what we can get away with before somebody actually notices."

I doubt that the conclusion of Ripple's SEC woes will provide sufficient clarity.

U.S. Governmental smarts on blockchain and cryptocurrency is severely lacking - to say the least.

Elephant in the room

Currently, for too many dollar-dense reasons, no one is sufficiently acknowledging the "Elephant in the room":

  • The real threat of falling further behind others in fintech, blockchain and cryptocurrency solutions; a steady rise in aborted STEM projects and innovative research, and the silent exodus of crypto/blockchain professionals (National Brain Drain).

Maybe the enormous task of maintaining the debt-based, fractional reserve banking "house of cards" and keeping the public sedated with banality is still the Prime Directive (a.k.a. a ticking time bomb, an upcoming train wreck that can easily be seen a mile away…)?

This is just the beginning, folks. BOLO (Be On the Look Out) for extreme ignorance.

It's inevitable...

Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic.

In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he performed high altitude, free-fall parachute jumps and hazardous diving ops in deep, open ocean water.

After 24 years of active duty, he retired in Asia.

Since then, he's been a full-time, single papa and actively pursuing his varied passions (Writing, Disruptive Technology, Computer Science and Cryptocurrency - plus more hobbies too boring or bizarre for most folk).

He lives on an island paradise with his girlfriend, teenage daughter and two dogs.
