Fish in pita bread - Hot appetizer for any time

Wrap your favorite fish, some vegetables and sour cream sauce in pita bread, and then bake in the oven. This original but very simple dish will stay on your menu for a long time.


Cooking time 15 minutes.


  • Fish fillet 500 g
  • Salt taste
  • Ground black pepper taste
  • Bow 1-2 pieces
  • Tomatoes 1-2 pieces
  • Sour cream 200 g
  • Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. spoons + for lubrication
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp. a spoon
  • Mustard 1 tbsp. a spoon
  • Thin lavash 1 piece
  • Sesame 1-2 tsp


one. Cut the fish into small pieces. Season with salt and pepper.

Use any fish you like.

2 ․ Cut onions into halves or quarters of rings, tomatoes into small pieces.

3 ․ Mix sour cream with salt, pepper, butter, lemon juice and mustard.

You can use regular mayonnaise instead of sauce.

four. Cut the lavash into strips about 20 cm wide.

five. Place onion, fish, sauce and tomatoes on each strip of pita bread. Fold to form an envelope. Make the rest of the blanks in the same way.

Leave 2-3 tablespoons of sauce.

6 ․ Lubricate the mold with oil. Put the fish in pita bread in it, add the remaining sauce on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

7 ․ Bake for about 30 minutes at 180 ° C.
