My Top 3 Nutritious Fruits and Their Benefits

To all vegetarians and fruit lovers, I'm here with my top nutritious fruits. There could be far more healthy fruits but these are the ones I found to be really important and also the ones I consume the most. I won't be able to touch all the aspects of the fruits but a summary of the important parts.

Oranges

This has to be my number 1. An orange has more than 100% the amount of vitamin C required by human beings in a day. Being one of the most prominent and consumed fruits, oranges are so nutritious that although most of us know it is nutritious, we don't know up to half it's nutritional value. An average sized orange has proteins, fibers, natural sugar, calcium, potassium, carbohydrates, calories, vitamin A and most especially vitamin C and has no sodium content.

The vitamin C from oranges help strengthen the immune system, fights cancer in different ways, helps heal wounds faster and makes the skin look fresh.
The citric acid gotten from oranges also prevent kidney stones from forming.
Vitamin C is good but consuming too much can take it's toll on us.

Apples

One of the most popular fruits. Apples are really important health wise. "An apple a day they say keeps the doctor away". Apples contain calories, potassium, fiber, carbohydrates and vitamin C and vitamin k.

Apples really help in strengthening the immune system in many ways like lower the risk of heart diseases and stroke, lowers the risk of getting diabetes and cancer and is also diabetes-friendly, lowers the risk of getting asthma, strengthens the bones and helps in healthy weight loss.
Apples have fibres which aid in digestion.
Apple juice helps the brain.

Mangos

There are alot of fruits that are meant to be in this space but I had to go for my personal best, mangos. I've come across alot of people that don't like mangos but what is there not to like in such a beautiful fruit. They contain calories, protein, fiber, sugar, carbohydrates, fat and are a great source of potassium, beta-carotene, folate, choline, magnesium and vitamin A, C and K.

Mangoes have an unlimited amount of health benefits. They improve digestion, makes the skin clear and fresh, lowers cholesterol, controls blood pressure, boosts brain health which improves memory and concentration, helps pregnant woman, cures acne and is also a remedy for heat stroke.

NB: Avoid eating the skin of a mango. If you have a skin sensitivity, you can peel the mango while stabilizing it with gloves or a towel to avoid direct contact. Source.
