Assalamualaikum.

warm wishes to everyone .

Hope all of you are well and enjoying the great platform of steemit.

Our generation will remember 2020 very well as a significant year in many aspects of the 21st century. The sad year of the epidemic will go down in history. The Covid-19 infection, which has stopped this movement of human civilization in its constant war with nature, has made us strong. Although humans are other animals due to their adaptive properties, adaptation is only painful in Kovid-19 infections. Many unintended events with birth.

Science has always come forward as the savior of mankind in this miserable time when the process of killing people in different countries is making the heads of state of the whole nation think. Hundreds of researchers are working tirelessly in this battle to invent Covid-19 control techniques through the limitless efforts of scientists.

There have been epidemics in the world at different times, and there have been massive deaths. Although this genocide has been going on for years, scientists have come up with the idea of infection. That too was a matter of time.

But the results of our colleagues' research into preventing coronavirus SARS-COV-2 infection are somewhat different in other time frames. The place of fundamental responsibility of the researchers who came down to deal with Covid-19 in the quickest time has become clear.

In our experience there was immaturity to deal with the new type of virus. In the beginning, the government did not give much importance to the issue. Some scholars of the country explained in misleading statements through social media that there is no such thing as coronavirus. They made a lot of jokes about the vaccine. Policy makers in the country also failed to understand the importance of coronavirus infection due to various hoaxes or propaganda on social media and in the media.

In our country, when we were laughing at the coronavirus, some scientists were acting like real angels in the fight against the new virus.

Within days of the outbreak in Wuhan, China, the virus was discovered in collaboration with the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center and School of Public Health, Huajong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan Central Hospital's Center for Disease Control and Prevention, China's Central Disease Control Agency and the University of Sydney in Australia. Is done. After finding this sequence of about 30,000 nucleotides in the data published on January 11, researchers around the world began to study it.

By January, about 54 research papers had been published in the journals of the medical journals The Lancet, Nature, Science, and biocov.
Although the virus was originally called ENCOV-2019, the World Health Organization renamed it "Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus Two" or SARS-CoV-2 for short. Researchers began naming the RNA in 2003 after it was found to be about 69 percent similar to the genome sequence of the coronavirus that took the form of an epidemic in China's Guangdong province.

In February, the characteristics and aspects of coronavirus were discussed in a research paper published in The New England Journal of Medicine, one of the best medical journals, entitled A Novel Coronavirus from Patients with Pneumonia in China, 2019. (Formula-3) A detailed discussion of the symptoms and infection of coronavirus comes out from this research paper.

Scientists are looking for a species of coronavirus with similar infective properties. A search of the coronavirus revealed that it belonged to the genus Coronavirin in the family Coronaviridae. Among alpha, beta, gamma, and delta coronaviruses, alphacoronaviruses and beta coronaviruses only infect mammals, while gammacronaviruses and delta coronaviruses can only infect birds.

Scientists did not have the speed to determine the strategy to identify the virus. Among the classical methods is the technique of knowing the RNA sequence of different species through reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction or RTPCR, known as the gold standard. The method is being used by states around the world to detect the coronavirus SARS-COV-2.

The researchers then found out which new virus was spreading from one animal to another and entered the human body according to the exact mechanism.
Coronavirus has several infectious parts. One of them is the spike protein, which attaches to the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) receptor under the skin of the human body. And the spike protein enters the body and causes infection. This information was obtained in a study published in the scientific journal Cell (Formula-4) by a team of researchers at the University of Gazen in Germany, entitled SARS-CoV-2 Cell Entry Depends on ACE2 and TMPRSS2 and Is Blocked by a Clinically Proven Protease Inhibitor.

This information played a strong role in the development of drugs and vaccines. Scientists later obtained electron microscopy images of the virus and third-degree images of the ACE2 receptor. In a number of studies, we have found detailed information about exactly which part of the spike protein, that is, the nucleotides in the DNA sequence. Which play a leading role in subsequent research.

A team of researchers around the world is still working tirelessly to develop a vaccine to combat covid-19, a group of basic research and a group of people who are still researching what drugs can be used to treat covid-19 infections.

However, it is difficult to come up with a cure for Covid-19 in such a short time. Initially, a group of researchers reported pre-clinical data on hydroxychloroquine used to treat malaria and a cocktail of two HIV drugs, but later found no good results. However, political experts have heard more interesting statements on this subject than the research data we have seen. Dexamethasone, another steroid, was added to hydroxychloroquine in their mouthwash.

Based on the data obtained by the researchers, the US Department of Drug Administration approved REMDCV in the middle of the year to treat patients with covidarum under emergency medicine. However, due to the strict monitoring and research data of the World Health Organization, the medicine of RemDCV was later declared ineffective.

A group of Chinese researchers have claimed that Favipiravi's 'Avigan' for the treatment of influenza in Japan is useful in the treatment of covid. Researchers in Japan are excited to see the effectiveness of Avigan against the covid-19.

Finally, a couple of weeks ago, the Japanese government announced that the results of the Avigan Coronavirus infection were still unclear.

However, thanks to the relentless efforts of researchers, at the end of the year, we have received the good news that the vaccine is effective. Although researchers at Oxford University and AstraZeneca have been talking to the scientific community about the various negative aspects of the vaccine, they are also enjoying some success at the end of the day.
All in all, there has been a revolutionary change in research. Mainly due to the humanitarian attitude of the researchers, it has been possible to invent a vaccine against the SARS-COV-2 virus at the fastest time in the history of the world, which is an indescribable success in the eyes of the researchers. However, although the origin of the virus is known, researchers are not yet sure exactly through which animal the virus first spread.

However, more articles on a single topic were published in 2020 than at any other time. According to Springer-Nature, about 14,000 peer-reviewed research papers on Covid-19 have been published, and 3,700 pre-print journals have also published Covid-19 research. Not only that, all the articles published by covid-19 have been made available to researchers and readers for free. As a result, researchers from all over the world are able to concentrate on new research by getting information.

The whole world has witnessed and is still witnessing the battle to liberate mankind from the grip of this terrible virus by boldly utilizing the knowledge of science and technology. Our researchers have given the best of any time in the science and research of the world the goal of suppressing the coronavirus, without accepting the helplessness of nature, by applying their intellect and wisdom properly.

For a country that thinks pouring money into research means pouring a few drops of water into heated sand, 2020 will be a shining example for them. Heads of state need to feel the pressure to be attentive, rather than indifferent to science research.

Emotion has no value in science. Information-rich discussions only open up new horizons. For that reason, Kovid-19 has suffered from some 'fake research papers' just as we have increased the radius of our knowledge by getting data from different angles. Although these superlative theories do not work for Covid-19, science is enriching information.

In the end, it can be said that with the advancement of science, we are getting the courage to overcome this terrible catastrophe of the human race. We don't know what kind of challenges we will have to face next year, but relying on researchers to tackle Kovid-19 will be marked as the 'Black Year' in the 2020 memoirs. The pain of losing a relative and the availability of a vaccine at the end of the year gave science another chance to prove its superiority. And so maybe next year we'll see some effective Covid-19 drugs. We want every human being to live in this world again with the help of scientists in their inventions.
