With the ear of corn in one hand
It is a small experiment in creativity, you choose a word, search a free resource site for the image or photograph that results in a list, and then write a short narrative about it.
For this occasion the word was chosen: Countryside
I'm standing in the middle of an aisle in a clean, modern grocery store in my town, but I just had an ear of corn and suddenly felt transported to a distant and open field, one that I have etched in my memory since childhood. .
I sighed a little while I felt the caress of the sun high in the sky on my skin, the breeze passed between the plants and I could hear it while everything stirred in its path.
I opened my eyes and found myself back in that lonely hallway, with cold, high-efficiency, low-energy lights.
Definitely that this social isolation is affecting me in ways that I am not even able to understand, I will have to schedule a new video consultation session with my therapist to discuss this.
I fear that I am developing some kind of tendency to hallucinations or that my sensory memories take control of my reality and make me relive memories with such intensity that it seems that I am in those places again.
As I was walking, I felt a strange noise in the clean hallway under my feet, so I looked down and now I am somewhat puzzled.
Why are my shoes so full of dirt?
