My Mother's Candy (we called it Candy Stick)

This was the sweet that my mother made for all the parties that were at home.

We called it Candy Stick, because it takes La Reine sticks or, when we couldn't find them, Champagne sticks.

It's very easy to do


1 can of condensed milk

1 can of normal milk

4 eggs

Lá Reine toothpicks or champagne sticks

1 packet of cream

4 tablespoons of sugar

1 can of Peach


Drain peaches and cut into small pieces.
The condensed milk can, the normal milk can and the 4 egg yolks are placed in a pan.
Stir everything and go to the fire, stirring constantly, until it thickens a little.
Place it at the bottom of a large bowl (or if you want, spread it over several small ones).


The sticks are broken into pieces and placed on top of the cream. (you can, if you want, soak the sticks in the peach sauce).
Place the bowl aside until the contents cool completely (when i am in a hurry, i put it in the sink with cold water at the bottom).


Meanwhile, beat the egg whites and when they are in foam, add the 4 tablespoons of sugar and continue to beat.
When you are almost in a castle, add the package to the cold cream and beat until almost a point of whipped cream.
When the cream of the milk and eggs is already cold, place it on the whites and cream on top.
Finally, spread the pieces of peach on top.
chill until serving.


If they don't like peach, they can substitute for pineapple.
