After a little absence due to various health problems, today I return renewed and full of energy, eager to share and interact with all of you. This is my first post on SteemFoods so I hope you like it, today I share this practical and simple recipe to pamper the family at home, a delicious and healthy snack! My daughter loves these cookies.😉
1 taza de avena en hojuelas/1 cup of oatmeal in flakes.
¼ taza de pasas/ ¼ cup of raisins.
2 Cambures maduros/ 2 ripe bananas.
1 cdita de canela/1 tsp cinnamon.
1 cdita de polvo para hornear/ 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
Miel o azúcar al gusto (generalmente es poca porque el cambur ya contiene azúcar)/ Honey or sugar to taste (generally it is little because the banana already contains sugar).
Extras al gusto: coco deshidratado y gotas de chocolate/ Extras to taste: dehydrated coconut and drops of chocolate.
En un recipiente triturar los cambures con un tenedor, una vez hechos puré agregar la avena y las pasas mezclar con una paleta de madera, cuando estén integrados agregar la canela y polvo de hornear y continuar mezclando, en este punto debemos probar la mezcla y agregar al gusto la miel y/o azúcar, luego proceder a amasar con las manos hasta que la mezcla no se te pegue de los dedos.
In a bowl, mash the bananas with a fork, once they are pureed, add the oats and raisins, mix with a wooden paddle, when they are integrated add the cinnamon and baking powder and continue mixing, at this point we must test the mixture and add to taste the honey and / or sugar, then proceed to knead with your hands until the mixture does not stick to your fingers.
This is the base mixture of the cookies but you can also add extras to the mixture, in this case I will divide the mixture into 3 parts, I will leave one only with the raisins, to the other dehydrated coconut, I will add and finally to the third chocolate chips. After incorporating the extras by kneading or with your hands, make small balls and flatten finely with your hands, this mixture should not stretch bone we should not use a roller to flatten.
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake on a previously greased and floured tray for approximately 15 to 18 minutes. The texture of these cookies is not crunchy, it is quite soft and they are really delicious. We can verify that they are ready when the border color turns golden. With this mixture, approximately 12 medium or 16 small cookies come out. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do at home. 👍👨🍳
