One of the most powerful way to analyzing data access is Creating a Query. Running a query is like asking a Question to a database .We can create query on single table OR on multiple tables.A query is a request for data information from a database table are combination of database tables this is a question that we ask to a table.
we can perform different queries To
- Answer to a question ❓
- Perform different types of calculations on data
- To combine data from different types of tables
- And to add different fields of tables and different types of data
- It is used to change data or to update data
- It is used to delete a record from a database or table
- We use query to perform different types of calculations as average ,obtained marks ,percentage, grades of students
- Use to export results
- Use to retrieve large amount of data very quickly and very efficiently

Let's Starts My Today's Lecture
Today I will tell you about Query and complete procedure to creating a query.A query can 🥫 be a request for data information from our database management system or for Action on the data Or for both data and database.
How to create a Query In MS Access
- First of all you should to choose a table in which you want to apply query
- To create a query go to Creat Tab by simply Click on CREATE>Query Design button on menu bar
- The Student table is appear in a small window as object relationship form and the list of all table fields are listed in this table .
- We resize all the fileds.
- Double click on Fields obtain Marks, Average and Grade
- we will include all the fields in which we want to apply operation
- Then Right click on below text box of Obtain Marks where we want to apply formula of obtain Marks
- From Pop up menu Click>Build
- Students marks is a database
- std is a table
- Then we select the subjects fields and + Operator to calculate Obtain Marks values.
- click on close query and then you will save your query with a suitable name related your data that you are store on database.
- Then we run the query by simply on Query name Click>Calculationthen Click>Yes
- The Query is running the obtain marks and average values are generated automatically
