Spain Seeks Citizens Opinion On Potential Cryptocurrency Regulations
According to a report from La Informacion, The National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Spain’s watchdog overseeing the securities markets kicked off first steps of nationwide crypto regulations by sending emails to representatives of the cryptocurrency industry, investors, and customers seeking for their comments. Galaxy Digital Buys $250 Million In Bitcoin
Mike Novogratz’s Galaxy Digital bitcoin funds have invested a combined $250 million in Bitcoin with the first sale of these funds being in November 2019. Morgan Stanley plans to allow their wealthy investor to invest in bitcoin through the above mentioned funds. Goldman Sachs also made same announcement. Miners Hoards Bitcoin From Recording Daily Earnings
Bitcoin miners stashs away their coins for higher prices, with direct transfers from miners to exchanges plummeting nearly 40% since mid-March. Data shows that miners’ BTC balances have been increasing since late March. Since February, roughly 5,000 newly minted BTC were added to Bitcoin’s unspent supply, totaling 1.765 million Bitcoin. Meitu Completes Its $100 Million Crypto Investment Goal
Hong Kong-based app-maker Meitu's originally outlined goal to invest $100 million in cryptocurrency has been achieved. In a disclosure filing Thursday, the publicly-traded company said it purchased another 175 BTC to reach the $100 million mark it set for itself in its Cryptocurrency Investment Plan. Canada's Leading Mortgage Brokerage Now Accepts Crypto
Toronto-based mortgage brokerage firm Matrix Mortgage Global has announced that it now accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Bitcoin Cash for its services in an April 8 press release. The move will help the company to increase payment transparency while expanding its global reach. Changpeng Zhao has revealed during an interview that nearly all of his net worth is invested in cryptocurrency. Zhao was listed as one of the billionaires on the Forbes billionaires list with $1.9 billion as of February 2021. He uses Binance Card for any transaction and doesn't hold fiat. Cardano’s First Supply Chain Application, Deployed In Georgian Winery Comes Active
A press release by Cardano shows it has rolled out its first supply chain traceability and anti-counterfeit solution in partnership with connected goods and products platform Scantrust. The system offers speed and low-cost supply chain tracing, its already in use by a Georgian artisan wine producer. WWE plans to release its first-ever non-fungible-tokens (NFTs) to showcase iconic moments of legendary Mark William Calaway, better known as The Undertaker. The Undertaker NFTs is to be offered in four tiers — Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The Platinum tier has an opening bid of $10,000, and the winner would get The Undertaker NFT with VIP access.
