Pro Futsal - Claremont vs Fremantle

in #profutsal3 years ago

Following Friday's livestream action is another mouth watering encounter when Fremantle Futsal Club look to inflict further pain on an already wounded Claremont Cambio Cumbre.

Fremantle are really flying at the minute, and with the experienced Glenn Sheldon between the posts, look even harder to break down than ever before.

Fremantle are coming off a 6-0 routing of the Murdoch Warriors, and have won 7/8 so far this season, amassing an incredible 39 goals while only conceding 16.

La Cumbre on the other hand are up against it, coming off a demoralising loss to the Canning Ultra Tigers and while coach Wazeem Omar clearly wasn't happy with last weeks result, it was widely reported that former leader Nestor Fonseca had a few choice words to say to his teammates following the match. With frustration building in the Cumbre camp, a heavy loss to Fremantle will probably mean some new signings in the transfer window.

While we are used to seeing Cumbre near the top of the Pro Futsal WA State Futsal League, Cumbre's young generation of Garner, Petley Watson an Omar are still yet to claim a big scalp, and this match will be Fremantle's to lose. While injured Brazilian Danilo Neves is a blow for Fremantle, they have a deep squad and are likely to notch up their 8th win in 9 games this season.
