Meat for hamburgers with chickpeas
Hello friends of Steemit I hope you are well, every time it becomes more usual for us to prepare our hamburgers at home, the ones that they sell on the street are delicious but they have a lot of fat and that makes us a lot of damage.
There are many recipes to prepare our hamburger meat in a healthier way, in this recipe I share how to make it with chickpeas, it can be the canned ones or maybe you have to have lunch left over.
So prepare your homemade burgers in a different way and surprise everyone at home, this recipe includes two apple and almond ingredients that will give a very different flavor, it will be that special touch to highlight the flavor.
- 500 grs of cooked chickpeas
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 chopped celery
- 1 chopped apple
- 60 grs. of chopped almonds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 beaten egg
- Bread crumbs
- Oil for frying
Beat the chickpeas so that they form a more or less homogeneous paste and reserve. Brown the onion, and when it is more or less golden brown, add the celery, the apple and the chopped almonds, season it to taste (we can also add some basil), add it to the mixture of the chickpeas and mix again. Once the mixture is prepared, we go through the beaten egg and then through the bread crumbs, then in a pan with hot oil, sear the burgers at medium heat, 5 minutes on each side. We take out and drain on kitchen paper so that they absorb the oil, you can also take them to the oven for a few minutes or pass them through a hot iron.
