What is Pyramid?
The Egyptian pyramid is the ancient stone pyramidal works in Egypt. There are about 138 pyramids were discovered in Egypt by 2008. Most of them are acted as a tomb for Pharaohs and Emperors in the two ancient Kingdoms and the Middle Kingdom.
The number of workers to build pyramids is estimated to range from a few thousand, 20 thousand to 100 thousand people.
The meaning of the shape
The shape of the Egyptian pyramid is said to symbolize the original soil that the Egyptians believed The Earth was created. The surface of most pyramids is paved with polished white limestone to create a gorgeous appearance when viewed from a distance.
All Egyptian pyramids were built on the left bank of the Nile River, where the sun went down and was considered to be related to the world of the dead people in Egyptian mythology.
Why the Egyptians built pyramids?
According to documents, the ancient Egyptians had strong faith in resurrection and immortality. They think that "in the dust of life, we are in death, so in order to welcome life, be prepared very carefully". They prepare very well for future death by seriously to building a tomb
