- Translation Overview
I keep translating some files in Main Game. As I written in some previous parts , the more I translated the more experience I got. This part I translated on page 9 and to some paragraphs on page 10. There are some interesting things I learned , for example:
[We should help them!|I am not afraid of no ghost.]
The most common meaning of 'afraid' is when we want to tell someone politely something that can make a person sad or depressed or upset. So the first time I translate is
[Chúng ta nên giúp đỡ họ!|Tôi e là có ma đấy.]
But after checking carefully a semantic revision in this context I decided to choose the second meaning of "afraid". That is 'to be frightened’. So I changed
[Chúng ta nên giúp đỡ họ!|Tôi không sợ con ma nào cả.]
[They probably want to ambush us. We cannot trust them. What if they are hostile?]
Firstly, I didn't focus too much on word " ambush" and I translated " tấn công". But when LM @Carlpei
reminded me to reconsider the meaning and I notice it. I corrected it into " phục kích". This means that the secret is available at one location, waiting for the enemy to pass. While " Tấn công" means using the strength or advantage to overpower the opponent vigorously in order to win or to dominate a race.
Thanks @Carlpei again for your help.
